CrisisSuite a Makeover

Now that Merlin has had a new corporate identity since May of this year, we felt it was time to take a CrisisSuite look at the color scheme in CrisisSuite . CrisisSuite new look and feel CrisisSuite in line with Merlin’s corporate identity. We’ve chosen modern, fresh colors that reflect our company’s identity.

CrisisSuite work just as you’re used to. The menus and screen layouts remain unchanged. However, we’ve updated the look and feel of the web application and the app. Below, you can see what’s changing and read why we made these changes.

Why We Are Making This Adjustment

When a crisis erupts, the crisis organization must be able to focus on the crisis itself, without distraction from the software. Therefore, we have utilized complementary colors in the interface. This creates a calmer overall appearance, leading to improved clarity.

We have also paid close attention to color contrast. This is crucial for an application's readability. The menus and most buttons now feature a higher contrast ratio. While the previous style's contrast ratio met the minimum requirement of the WCAG accessibility guidelines (4.5:1), the new style boasts a ratio nearly four times greater (16.34:1). This represents a significant enhancement!
